Thanks, agree completely. Tropical farming is very input heavy (poor soil and nutrients as well as strong disease and pest pressure). Most of Brazil`s chemical inputs are imported, which makes them more expensive and not always the best fit for tropical ag. That along with high interest rates is what really keeps Brazil Ag from growing at an even faster rate.
